Itinearary
Day 01 : Delhi to Manali by bus, 14 hrs
Transfer to hotel. (Evening local sight seen) Dungri Temple and Bashisht hot spring
Day 02 : Manali to Bathal by car 5hrs night at camp
On the way Rotang Pass (3398m) the gateway of Lahaul & Spiti. Grampho the diversion point of Lahaul & Spiti and first village of Lahaul.
Day 03 : Bathal to Chandertal 12 km trek 5hrs (4200m)
First day trek. Gradual climb which levels off near the Chandertal Lake. The lake is famous for its high altitude beauty and calm scenery. It covers a large basin and is one of the highest lakes in the world containing fish. Chandertal means Moon Lake.
Over Night at camp.
Day 04 : Halt
Full day at Chandertal to explore area and best place to rest, relax and enjoy the scenery. Across the Chandra River you will see glacier & peaks of Mulkila Mountain& C B ranges .Also view of some high peaks of Bara Shigri.
Day 05 : Chandertal to Tokpo Gongma (4400m) 12 km 5/6 hrs
A good view of mountain peaks & glacier throughout. Tokpo means river and Gongma means big. So you have to cross big stream, which is safe in the early morning.
Day 06 : Tokpo Gongma to Tokpo Yangma (4640m) 10 km
Yongma means small, again it should be cross early morning when the river is low or find some snow bridge up near the source.
Day 07 : Tokpo Yangma to Baralachala (4880 m) 10 km 4/5 hrs
Baralacha is very interesting pass because of three rivers and four ways, river flows to different direction, Chandra, Baga and Yunam and way goes to Lahoul, Spiti, Zansker and Ladakh, night at camp.
Day 08 : Drive to Manali –Happy End of the tou
